To us at Stowe Mountain Builders, green building and sustainable development go hand in hand and refer to construction that allows us to complete the building task at hand without compromising the ability of those who come after us to complete theirs.  This concept guides us in all aspects of what we do from design to material sourcing to the high performance methods that we use.  Both Nantucket Island & Stowe are beautiful environments and we are constantly doing our utmost to keep them that way and protect what has drawn us there to live and work.
